Support for Newly Arrived School Children

The "New Links" team was established, with newly arrived students serving as executive officers. The team held meetings for newly arrived students from time to time to share their experience and help new students solve their learning and adjustment difficulties, so that they could adapt to campus life as soon as possible.

Through interviews with newly arrived students, the instructors understand the needs and difficulties of different students, help them solve problems and build up their self-confidence.

The teacher of the English department has set up English tuition classes for newly arrived students, and has also purchased some teaching materials and teaching aids to assist the newly arrived students to adapt to English learning as soon as possible.

Visiting activities are held twice a year to help newly arrived school children understand Hong Kong, adapt and integrate into the society.

To maintain close liaison and cooperation with the guidance team, arrange for newly arrived students to meet or participate in social service work to enhance their self-confidence.
