"The 'New Asia Connecting Hearts Team' is an organization in our school that serves newly arrived students. The team members are themselves new immigrant students.

'New' refers both to the name of our school, New Asia, and to the new immigrant students. 'New' and 'Heart' have the same pronunciation in Putonghua, so the name 'New Asia Connecting Hearts' expresses the hope that the new immigrant students will feel connected in a welcoming environment, stand shoulder to shoulder, and happily integrate into the New Asia school community, paving the way to their shared success!"
