Inclusive Education

The school adopts the "whole school participation" model to integrate education, strengthen support for non-Chinese speaking students in Chinese literature and teaching, and build an inclusive campus work, and make good use of resources to provide adequate care and appropriate support for students with special learning needs and non-Chinese speaking students.

  1. School-based Educational Psychology Service
    Resident educational psychologists assess students' intelligence and special learning needs, and provide professional advice on learning and support measures according to students' circumstances.

  2. School-Based Speech Therapy Services
    Individual or group speech therapy and training are provided by resident speech therapists to students in need.

  3. After-school and Pre-exam Tutoring
    We strengthen the care of students with learning needs and provide them with more effective learning support in small groups.

  4. Group Work
    According to the needs of students, training groups such as literacy skills, social skills, executive skills, art therapy, horticultural therapy, juggling classes, fancy rope skipping and life planning are organized to improve students’ abilities in learning and socializing.

  5. Curriculum and Test Adjustment
    To meet the special educational needs of students, it is recommended to adjust courses, homework or tests, etc., to help students improve their learning motivation and evaluate their effectiveness.

  6. Building An Inclusive Campus
    We organise different inclusive activities to enable NCS students and local students to understand different cultures, learn to respect each other and live in harmony.
