Outstanding Student Association
Aims
The association aims at nurturing outstanding students of our school to become future leaders with international perspectives and decision-making ability so as to equip and prepare them to become good members of society.
We actively organize various types of academic and cultural exchange activities, aiming to enhance students' learning motivation, allowing them to cultivate their leadership skills through the preparation and organization of activities. We also encourage students to study hard and strive for academic improvement, thereby shaping well-rounded student leader role models.
How can one become an Outstanding Student?
- Passed all subjects (Failure in only one of the following three subjects ,Physical Education, Music or Design and Technology, is accepted)
- Good conduct (grade B or above, without minor or major demerits)
- Must participate in various Outstanding Student training sessions and activities throughout the year and perform well
How can one become an “Honorary Outstanding Student”?
- If students can keep their Outstanding Student status during the three years of senior forms, that is, from S4-S6, they can receive an “Honorary Outstanding Student” badge upon graduation.
Teacher advisors
In order to cultivate the active learning and decision-making ability of the Outstanding Students, the teacher advisors only play a guiding role and arrange activities for them while all Outstanding Students can independently lead and hold the activities.
New Asia New World
New Asia, New World is a cultural exchange forum aiming at promoting cultural awareness of students in Hong Kong.
Students of different secondary schools, as well as Cultural Ambassadors from different countries worldwide, are invited to participate in the half-day forum at New Asia Middle School.
